The movie doesn’t open until July 15, but merchandising for the all-female reboot of Ghostbusters already shows signs of paranormal activity.
While Ghostbusters T-shirts and holiday sweaters themed to the 1984 movie are still doing a brisk business on Etsy and an online Ghostbusters Store, hip-hop star Nas has announced the launch of Nas x Ghostbusters, a rollout of Nas-designed apparel and accessories anchored by merchandise for Hstry, his own line of streetwear, and New Era caps.
As Nas put it: “Remember Sean John was T-shirt and a baseball cap in my man Puffy’s office and he was like wondering if it would work . . . and look at it now.”
