Tourneau Bryant Park 2New York—Right along with the watch news pouring out of BaselWorld in Switzerland, Tourneau, the largest U.S. watch retailer, opened its latest store at 3 Bryant Park in the heart of midtown Manhattan just blocks from Times Square and the Garment District.

The ribbon cutting included TONY award winning star Jefferson Mays, Bryant Park Corporation Executive Director Dan Biederman, Tourneau CEO Ira Melnitsky, and Tourneau Senior Vice President of Retail Larry Barkley. The event also kicked off the retailer’s 115th Anniversary.

Situated on the corner of 6th Avenue and 42nd Street,  the store is at a prime crossroads that attracts six million tourists and locals annually.

The 3,330-square-foot space houses more 17 luxury watch brands and features specialized boutiques for Rolex, Cartier, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, IWC, Breitling, Tudor and Longines.

Other brands featured include Franck Muller, Glashütte Original, Bell and Ross, Devon, Bucherer, Nomos, Frederique Constant, Hamilton, Ball Watch and Casio as well as Tourneau’s own watch brand, TNY and its Certified Pre-Owned timepiece collection. Construction on Tourneau Bryant Park, which was designed by Tourneau’s in-house Store Development & Design team with New York-based Kenneth Park Architects, began in September as part of a movement to revitalize Bryant Park’s luxury retail shopping district.
