Remember when people got all dressed up and rode trains in style? We don’t either, and that’s why our fashion radars perked up when we heard about “Murder on the Orient Express,” a 2017 film version of Agatha Christie’s 1934 detective novel. What better excuse to see a star-studded staff styled in 1930’s garb traveling through Siberia…with some murder intrigue thrown in?

The movie opens November 10 and stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Judi Dench, Penelope Cruz as well as Johnny Depp and Kenneth Branagh (who also directs). Costume designer Alexandra Byrne has been hailed for her period expertise on everything from “Elizabeth” to “The Phantom of the Opera,” so expect the “Orient Express” costumes and accessories to be impeccable. HSN, which often partners with themed and period films, has created a “Murder on the Orient Express” collection, featuring travel cases, tapestry bags, Deco brooches, pearl strands, faux fur wraps and lace-up boots.
