Greg LaurenDenim was certainly the “It” material at the Greg Lauren show, which featured a dizzying array of denim accessories and apparel, from denim floppy hats and caps to scarves to boots. Long ragged strips in dark and light denim created a patchwork effect, evoking a most fashionable Oliver Twist.

Anna SuiAnna Sui took us on a jaunt to Hawaii by way of Tahiti, full of leis, tribal tattoos and jungle colors. Shiny floral chokers, headbands, wrist corsages and necklaces (all Erickson Beamon for Anna Sui) added a slick touch.

Proenza Schouler Spring 2016Stark yet fluid, Proenza Schouler used simple ribbon ties to cinch fabrics, creating new peekaboo zones at the shoulders and waists. Look to ribbon ties and bows to have a powerful impact next Spring.

Clover CanyonWith a retro palette of mint greens, mustards, pinks and peaches, Clover Canyon accented solid apparel blocks with applique flowers, circular disk brooches and flower chokers.
