jcp_Flag_4c_APlano, TX—The confidence and power a well-dressed woman feels is a force to be reckoned with and it’s no secret that many employers find style to be just as important as skills.

Now JCPenney is giving shoppers the chance to help women across the country look their best for interviews and land that job in style. The retailer has teamed up with Dress for Success, an organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and life.

Along with its own charitable giving program, JCP Cares, JCPenney is inviting its customers to round up their purchases in February to the nearest whole dollar and donate the difference to benefit Dress for Success.

JCP Cares partners with a new charitable organization every month to round up purchases, with past partners including the YMCA, Salvation Army, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and Teach For America.
