Joan Shepp Eagles Superbowl

Football might not immediately come to mind when you think of upscale retailer Joan Shepp, which is much more Balenciaga than Blitz. But the Philadelphia retailer is awash with hometown pride as the Eagles enter the Superbowl this Sunday.

To celebrate, Joan Shepp is giving away $25 gift certificates to consumers who come into the store wearing green. The promotion ran from yesterday and will go through Superbowl Sunday. And since no football game is complete without a tailgate, the store is dressing up in green with “tailgate essential” drinks and snacks.

“We wanted to be a part of the incredible energy of Philadelphia and support our team!” says Joan Shepp. “Last game, we put some t-shirts in the window and we won; this time, we took it a step further and featured limited edition Eagles wear by Philadelphia designer Nancy Volpe Beringer.”

Also, American pop artist Perry Milou will be live-painting an Eagles themed masterpiece ‘Next Dog Up’ in the storefront window tomorrow and Saturday before the big game!
