Retail: Consortium Launches Customizable Luxury Concept Pop-Up Shop

New Yorkers tend to like things their way, so it’s a good thing CONSORTIUM, a luxury retailer dedicated to customizable fashion brands, has kicked off its 12-city pop-up tour in New York. Located at 60 Grand Street, will pop-up remains open through September 1st. men’s and women’s brands include Saintly, Stantt, Jeanuine, Awl & Sundry, Martenero, Piemer, Borun, Olfactory, Impish Lee and Laudi Vidni.

A pioneer in the bespoke design retail space, CONSORTIUM’s goal is to roll out 15 permanent brick and mortar locations worldwide to supplement its growing e-commerce platform. For now, the pop-up will continue its tour to Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and more.

The New York pop-up integrates technology via oversized touchscreens to guide clients through their design journey. Personal stylists offer additional assistance. For example, creating jeans with customizable pockets.

“We are proud to be launching our concept in New York,” says founder Sam Payrovi. “We see a huge opportunity to spearhead the customization movement by aggregating a ‘consortium’ of bespoke brands. The modern shopper craves a unique shopping experience and we believe customization delivers exactly that.”
