IMGL6796Beverly Hills, CA–Oren Isaac Eyewear, a new e-commerce-based optical brand create by Emmanuel Aboucaya, premiered today with a collection of OI optics featuring 27 frame options at $98 a pair.

The frames come in a range of colorways incorporating elements such as ombre and color-blocking.

To encourage users to find just the right pair, Oren Isaac supplies each consumer with five pairs to their home to try on for six days.

Aboucaya, who was Michael Jackson’s optician along with other celebrities like Meryl Streep, Sean Lennon, and Linda Evangelista, says he started the company to fill the gap in the e-comm eyewear space seeing a lack of quality frames in the marketplace.

Bluelight Ray Protection

With a mission to make higher quality glasses at reasonable prices Oren Isaac was created to help provide glasses to people who cannot afford them. With their #Giveback program in which OI customers they can simply send back their old frames and post a photo on Instagram using the official hashtag receiving a $15 reward towards their next purchase.

For Black Friday, the first 50 customers to put glasses in their cart will receive complimentary first pairs–anyone who misses out will get a free lens upgrade with their first purchase.

A former optician from France, Aboucaya obtained his optician license in 2000 and signed on to work for Selima Optique in 2001. Later he opened his first store in 2004 at Paris Place de la Nation with a second location in 2009 at Paris Place Victor Hugo.

This year he made the move into the US after seeing a lack of quality eyewear available in the online.
