Tory Burch’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection had a fun and preppy approach to her women’s wear line. Playing with colors, prints and textures, Burch produced a relaxed collection with bold floral printed skirts, graphic pattern shift dresses and easy separates such as blouses and cardigans. Accessories include oversized pearl necklaces and earrings, creating a 1950’s ladylike retro vibe, as well as crisp white sneaker and two-toned moccasins adding to the carefree summer looks.
Delpozo, a brand known for its stand-out items and couture-like detailing and construction, proved his spring/summer 2017 collection was just as exquisite as the last. The apparel was full of volume and unique proportions as well as architectural-like structures; materials were lavish and lux with metallic floral jacquards and organza. Going along with the play on proportion, it’s no surprise the earrings were a hit, the gigantic chandelier earrings made of sequins adorned the earlobes allowing the light and transparency to shine through.
Anna Sui’s Spring 2017 collection was a unique blend and mash-up of American culture, from western cowboys to high school varsity wear and red, white and blue combinations. The result was a fun presentation that consisted of lots of prints and patterns mixed together and standout statement accessories, such as cowboy hats and boots, glittery ankle socks, 3-D floral pins and printed neckerchiefs.
