Nordstrom celebrates the Chinese Lunar Year of the Dog with its latest Pop-In@Nordstrom shop, catering to dog lovers as well as actual dogs. Adding some celebrity cred? Snoopy!
Curated by Olivia Kim, Nordstrom vice president of Creative Projects (and dog aficionado), the shop carries everything from doggie apparel and leashes to organic pet food ad dog beds. The shop will also offer exclusive apparel and accessories for humans and pets featuring the world’s most famous beagle – Snoopy, from the comic strip Peanuts.
“We wanted to find the best of the best pet products out there,” said Kim. “It’s everything you would want for the modern pet in your life that is not considered just a pet, but more of an actual family member. While it is the Year of the Dog, we wanted to make sure that we represented cats as well.”
The canine-themed pop-in is the latest offering in a line of creative pop-up and online shops curated by Kim that extend beyond Nordstrom’s usual offerings and even customer base. Past themes have included Korean fashion and beauty, MoMA gift items, Paris and ‘90s raves.
The Pop-In runs through March 25th at numerous Nordstrom locations.
