Neiman Marcus’ Fall Shoes & Handbag catalog went to the dogs, literally. The retailer hit the streets of Manhattan with famous puppy photographer Elias Weiss Friedman of @TheDogist. Freidman has amassed more than 2.7 million Instagram followers and penned the NYT Bestseller, The Dogist.

All of Fall’s favorite designers are paired with a puppy pal—Gianvitto Rossi, Stuart Weitzman, Loeffler Randall, Laurence Dacade, Valentino Garavani, Buscemi, Chloe, Edie Parker, Brunello Cucinelli, Manolo Blahnik, Judith Leiber Couture and many more. “To have Elias’ eye behind the camera highlighting our incredible assortment of merchandise alongside those precious puppies made for such charming, lighthearted images,” notes  Yujin Heo, Vice President, Creative, Neiman Marcus Group. “My creative team had such a joyful experience partnering with him to shoot our fall shoe and handbag campaign.”

“Working with Neiman Marcus on this project gave me a fresh perspective on the way I photograph people with their dogs,” Freidman says. “Working with dogs is a challenge in itself that I’ve come to master on a few levels, but integrating shoes, bags and outfits into the images without stealing the dog’s spotlight was an entirely new challenge. The finished product may indeed seem like my signature Dogist aesthetic, but this was no walk in the park!”
