Myles Kennedy for Moscot

Myles Kennedy shows off his guitars–and sunglasses

New York—As lead vocalist and guitarist for Alter Bridge and Slash, Myles Kennedy is one of rock music’s international legends. His next hit, though, may not involve his four-octave vocals, but new eyewear collaboration with Moscot, the New York-based eyewear retailer.

“I am thrilled to announce that my friends at Moscot eyewear and I have collaborated on a new frame that not only looks cool, but also goes towards a great cause” said Kennedy. “For every The Myles frame purchased, a portion of the proceeds will be given to The Moscot Mobileyes foundation, a great charity that helps people correct their vision and enables them to achieve a better quality of life. I could not be more honored to be a part of this!”

Kick-Off Concert Planned

His The Myles frame is a classic and sophisticated aviator shape consistent with the musician’s “aesthetic and influence.”  It is derived from Myles’ favorite Moscot original, The Sechel, but incorporates design elements from the 60’s and 70’s to reflect his laid back, rock star style. Retail are $270 for ophthalmic, and $270 for sunglasses. The Myles comes in matte black/grey and olive/black, in two sizes.

As part of its official debut on Sept. 12, Kennedy will be performing a live, 45-minmute acoustic set for select fans and VIPs at the Moscot Gallery and Music Space on Orchard Street.
