DOLCE & GABBANA

Dolce & Gabbana was channelling Carmen Miranda when designing its SS18 collection, but instead of fruits, model’s heads were covered with practically everything else: large flowers, vegetables, toy cars and opulent crowns. The apparel was a mix of kitsch and class, with romantic florals walking side-by-side with whimsical prints (cannolis, queen of hearts, you name it). Eyewear was equally as lighthearted with over-the-top frames decked with straw, 3D-flowers and even bejeweled hands. The moral of the story? Anything goes!

MARNI

The fine art movement has taken to the runway, and Marni’s show was a prime example. Impressionistic patterns and artful florals were paired with art fair earrings and necklaces. Twisted copper and an array of stones combine for an individualistic, handmade feel.

VERSACE

According to Versace, 2018 will be a great time to start a coin collection. The designer presented an array of coin-adorned accessories including earrings, barrettes and necklaces along with Western-inspired hats, belts and bolo ties. Leather, studs and animal prints completed the modern cowgirl aesthetic.
