Phildelphia–This Spring, designer fine jewelry brand, Lagos premieres an exclusive collection supporting Keep Memory Alive, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the research, management and treatment of memory disorders. Designs from this Sterling Silver Signature Caviar collection are custom designed and inspired by the intricate curvature of Keep Memory Alive’s architectural masterpiece in Las Vegas, designed by world-renowned architect, Frank Gehry.
Steven Lagos, a long time supporter, is dedicated to supporting Keep Memory Alive’s efforts to provide enhanced treatment, and ultimately cures for patients and their families suffering from neurocognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis.
“Keep Memory Alive is personal for me. Having two grandparents that suffered from Alzheimer’s, I have seen firsthand the debilitating effects these diseases have on the victims, and the incredible emotional and physical strains that it creates within their families. It’s about raising awareness and getting involved to help the patients and their families” says Lagos, founder/creative director for the brand.
“As Steven Lagos and I have both seen for ourselves the impact of Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases on our loved ones, it is efforts such as this that is helping us get one step closer to funding more research and finding more treatment options for patients,” said Larry Ruvo, founder, Keep Memory Alive, “We are thrilled to be honoring our supporter Frank Gehry and celebrating this exclusive jewelry line with Steven Lagos, an internationally known designer. Their support will advance our mission to find cures for devastating brain disorders.”
To celebrate the mission of Keep Memory Alive and Cleveland Clinic, 100% of the proceeds from pieces sold will benefit the efforts of these organizations. The eight piece collection is comprised of silhouettes, including Signature Caviar bracelets, a statement cuff, cufflinks, and more. On May 27, the collection will be sold exclusively on http://www.lagos.com/keepmemoryalive and in the Lagos flagship store in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square.
