East Hampton, NY–Hanging out in the Hamptons this Independence Day weekend? Look skyward for the Lacoste croc logo, take a photo with your smartphone or digital camera, tweet it and you might win a trip to Paris.

It’s all part of a Twitter contest sponsored by Lacoste Eyewear that begins Saturday at 2 p.m. (Rain date: Sunday, July 3). Lacoste Eyewear will be “skywriting” its iconic croc logo over East Hampton Beach.

The first 20 people to snap a photo of the skycroc and bring the image into the East Hampton Lacoste boutique will received a free pair of Lacoste sunglasses.

But there’s more:

At 2 p.m., @LACOSTE followers can tweet pictures they’ve taken of the Lacoste skywritten croc for a shot at winning a round-trip, business class plane ticket from New York to Paris. All photos must be @mention @LACOSTE and be a follower of the @LACOSTE Twitter account.

Each tweeted and @mentioned picture counts as one entry. Entrants can tweet as many @mentioned pictures as they like by 11:59 pm EST on July 2, but each submission must be of a different picture and entrants must abide by the contents’ terms and conditions. (Multiple entries do not increase your chances of winning, by the way).

On June 3, @LACOSTE will collect all eligible entries and choose the grand prize winner with the best picture. @LACOSTE will announce the one grand prize winner of the sweepstakes on its Twitter account at 12 p.m. EST on July 11 and notify the grand prize winner via Direct Message with pertinent information on collecting the prize.
