Los Angeles, CA—Kim Kardashian unveiled her latest addition to her growing brand empire Tuesday night—a collection of fashion watches, but the press seemed more interested her love life and rumors that the reality TV star is pregnant.

‘Affordable, Really Cool Watches’

For the record: no, Kim’s not pregnant but she admitted to gaining “a little bit of weight” following recent trips to New York and Europe. As for her love life, Kardashian, who has been linked recently to singer Kanye West, model and Halle Barrie ex Gabriel Austin, and NFL players Reggie Bush and Miles Austin, she says she’s single and may date athletes “but no footballers.”

“My favorite part about being single is just that I can focus on work and not feel guilty,” she told reporters last night.

Surrounded by a corps of body guards and a battalion of paparazzi, Kardashian showed off her fashion watch line, a women’s collection that retails from $250 to $450. She said she had been working on the watch collection with the Brissmor Co. for nearly a year.

“I have a huge watch collection at home myself, and I wanted stuff that I hadn’t seen before,” Kardashian said on Tuesday. “I wanted, you know, people to have affordable, really cool watches.”

The collection, which is available online and in stores in 2011, also has a couple of less affordable style, including two limited edition, styles with Swiss movements emblazoned with 8 ctw of diamonds.

Of course if you are one of Kim’s 5.5 million followers on Twitter you would have already known about the collection. Early last week she posted: “Hi dolls! My new project has been under lock and key, but now it’s finally ready to go! I am so excited to show you my new signature watch line. I worked really hard with The Brissmor Company to develop some fabulous watches! I hope you like them!!!”

Keeping with the Kardashians’ Multi-Million Businesses

Moreover, you’ll be glad to know she’s been “resurrected” as well after her “digital death” last week when Kim along with other celebrities such as Justin Timberlake, Usher, Elijah Wood, Jennifer Hudson, Serena Williams, and Lady Gaga, signed off Twitter and Facebook until fans donated $1 million to the AIDS charity “Keep a Child Alive.”

Evidently fans were more interested in the posts than donations. After six days into the “death” only $450,000 was raised. Kardashian and the others were able to return to their ceaseless online musings on Monday after billionaire philanthropist Stewart Rahr generously offered to match this amount.

While gossip pages help the world “keep up” with the Kardashians’ every move, Kim Kardashian, who along with sisters Khloe and Kourtney, have been capitalizing on their fame for being—well famous and building an impressive business portfolio.

On Tuesday, The Daily reported that Kim Kardashian is the most successful of TV’s reality stars. “She pulled in an estimated $6 million this year for shilling everything from cupcake mix to Skechers Shape-ups to Kotex,” the report stated.

Besides the watch line with Brissmor, Kardashian and her sisters, who all appear on E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” co-owns a line of retail stores, a skincare line, and the K Dash for QVC line, as well as promotions for Quick Trim weight-loss supplements and her licensed line of Beach Bunny Swimwear. The sisters also signed a “global fashion and lifestyle” brand deal with Jupi Corporation in August.

Kim Kardashian earns as much as $75,000 just for showing up to an event, the Daily Beast reported. And while a prepaid credit card endorsement ended quickly recently when Connecticut attorney general began investigating hidden fees, the sisters “snagged a few hundred thousand pretty pennies for her and her sisters’ recently released book Kardashian Konfidential, which sold 13,000 copies during its first week on sale,” The Daily Beast added.

The Beverly Hills-based Brissmor Company was established in 2008 with offices in Nassau, Bahamas. Brissmor is set to release additional “celebrity signature luxury watch collections” in 2011 besides its The Royal Blood and the Brissmor Elite ala Frank Mueler timepieces.
