New York—We all get a bit sentimental and nostalgic during the holidays, and this new (well, old, actually) line of repurposed vintage jewelry has us walking right down memory lane.

Estate of Grace by Bethany B is created by Beth Bernstein, who recently authored the book “My Charmed Life.” The book, which we profiled here, is a memoir told through Bernstein’s extensive collection of jewelry, all given to her by various important people throughout her life.

With Estate of Grace, she recreates that feeling of nostalgia, thought it’s told through other people’s history.

“Every piece of jewelry has a past, present and future and each has a story to tell,” she says. “The collection is inspired by my passion for jewelry that has history and character. I have gathered and re-interpreted magical treasures and trinkets with symbolic motifs and messages. In the present, each of these pieces can be completely personalized and take on different meanings, depending upon the woman who wears them.”

After scouring flea markets across the country, not to mention in Paris, London and Rome, Bernstein takes discovered antique Victorian, art nouveau and art deco stickpins and brooches and fashions them into one-of-a-kind pendants, bracelets and rings with original accents and details. Pieces are 10k, 14k and 18-karat gold.

Bernstein, who has written about jewelry for various magazines and styled countless photo shoots (she was also a fashion director of Accessories Magazine years ago), was also a jewelry designer in the 1990s. With Estate of Grace by Bethany B, she finds the perfect path for her dual passion for collecting and designing jewelry.
