The trend-driven bag line, which is all about unicorns, sequins, rainbows, glitter, hologram metallics and (obviously) very playful thoughts, has transferred its kitschy aesthetic to its first line of footwear.
“In the fashion business, when people are really liking your product, the next question is always What’s Next?” says Anne Harper, Founder and CEO. “I’ve always had a sneaker obsession (even though I always wear sky-high heels…and am always so uncomfortable), and our prints are so cute, so we just figured, let’s go into sneakers! We already rolled out a line of pillows for the home with similar prints.”
The line targets fashion-forward kids, teens and people for whom “fun has no age,” the footwear line will kick off with sneakers at the 2018 MAGIC show in Las Vegas, August 13 to 15. The sneakers will retail for $42 to $68.The design inspiration pulls literally from the bags, so now fans of the OMG Accessories Mini Backpacks, Fanny Packs, Weekenders, and Cosmetic Cases, can mix and match the rainbows and unicorns from wrist to back to feet.
