Jewelry designer Alex Woo has partnered with everyone from Disney to Major League Baseball, but forgive our girliness when we admit that her latest collaboration with Smith & Cult nail polish is our favorite one yet! The new Alex Woo x Smith & Cult Autograph collection features her signature Autograph letters, this time rendered in cursive enamel.
Made in New York, the Smith & Cult Autograph collection in sterling silver and enamel retails for $118 (necklaces and rings). For a limited time, consumers who purchase from the Alex Woo x Smith & Cult collection will receive a free matching nailed lacquer with the matching Autograph Enamel Letter. The nail polish normally retails for $18 value.
Why not match your jewelry to your nail polish?
PARTNERING WITH BEAUTY
Woo always has her finger on the pulse of what’s happened, and was quick to recognize the growing beauty industry as ripe for a collaboration. “The idea came about when I wanted to make my new Autograph collection of letters truly bespoke, and I fell in love with Smith & Cult’s gorgeous jewel-like bottles, and the passion that women have for their vibrant colors” says the savvy Woo. (Woo has been named one of Crain’s New York Business’s 40 under 40, won the Women’s Jewelry Association grand prize in Jewelry Design and was selected by JCK as a Rising Star.) “I’m so excited to bring together the world of storytelling through jewelry with these luxurious colors from Smith & Cult to further capture our emotions.”
The five Smith & Cult Nailed Lacquer colors selected to complement the liquid-like letters are Kundalini Hustle / Opaque Poppy Red, Exit The Void / Opaque Periwinkle, Bitter Buddhist / Opaque Celadon Green, Pillow Pie / Semi-Sheer Powder Pink, and their newest shade – A Little Lovely / Large Baby-Pink and Small-Platinum Gold Glitter Particles Suspended in Clear Base.
