Empty ice buckets no doubt abound today in Hollywood after those nearly-all-night Oscar parties finally end. While there have been no social media postings of red carpet-ready celebrities being doused by an upturned champagne ice bucket, the challenge, which swept social media late last year, goes on.
It’s an effort to raise awareness and money for The ALS Association which has battled Lou Gehrig’s disease and is looking for ways to vanquish the dreaded disease. The Ice Bucket Challenge may have ended, but Must Diamonds has committed to continuing to make a difference through a brand-new Ice Bucket-themed line using sterling silver and diamonds. According to the company, 20% of all sales go directly to the ALS Association “which is more than 65% of the profits.”
Each piece from the collection—a pendant, ring and bracelet–are made of sterling silver set with six round brilliant diamonds (about .03 ctw).
All in all it’s a much better way to show support than the shock of icewater spilling over your design duds.
