French jewelry line Les Georgettes joins the growing trend for reversible, personalized and interchangeable accessories, having just launched in the States. Les Georgettes™ is a joint creation by Groupe GL Altesse, France’s leading jewelry manufacturer, and Texier, a leather goods manufacturer in Brittany. Officially recognized as part of France’s National Heritage (Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant), both companies are part of the Renaissance Luxury Group.
How does it work? Each cuff comes with a single piece of double-sided leather that features a different color on the reverse side. The cuff can be worn alone or with the leather easily snapped into place. For a quick change, the leather is easily flipped and secured.
Cuffs come in varying widths and the company just launched band rings with the same interchangeable system. Options are numerous. Each design features four finishes (silver, gold, rose and ruthenium). Leathers include solids and iridescent finishes, and new for Spring is a range of neon Perspex bands (due to their translucence, these are not double sided). For an idea on price, bracelet cuffs retail from $79 to $119, with additional leathers at $17 to $23 each.
