When the weather is scorching hot by day, cool and breezy by night and every building has its own air conditioning situation, fashion girls know that it’s key to dress in layers to handle any temperature situation. In lieu of a basic black blazer, we’re going for the gold (and orange, blue and pink) with Etro’s Georgette Poncho.

Its boho floral and bird print mixed with Art Deco and Ikat styling is perfect for carefree summers that call for lots of color and fun, not to mention its long fiery fringe at the hem.

But our absolute favorite part is that this is a poncho with sleeves, so it holds its own in keeping us warm slipped over tank tops and sleeveless dresses.
