West Chester, PA–Supermodel turned supermogul Heidi Klum is unleashing her inhibitions this fall as she unveils WILDLIFE by Heidi Klum- a new fashion jewelry collection for QVC. This model, businesswoman, designer, and mother of four (might as well add supermom to her credentials) knows that if you want to express yourself, you need to get wild!

“Each piece in the collection is special by itself and can stand alone,” Klum says. “I don’t think you need to match anymore; that’s out! Your earrings don’t have to match your bracelet and rings. The eclectic look is in!”

Klum is scheduled to kick off the launch September 8 during the QVC Fashion’s Night Out event, and September 10 as part of the QVC Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week–Live from New York broadcast.

WILDLIFE by Heidi Klum marks the designer’s second jewelry collection for QVC.

“We are thrilled to welcome Heidi back to QVC with this fresh, exciting collection,” said Doug Howe, executive vice president of merchandising, planning, and sales for QVC. “With her exceptional sense of style, vivacious personality ad shrewd business sense, her new jewelry line is sure to resonate with our shoppers.”

Klum had previously collaborated with Mouawad in 2006 and released a fine jewelry collection featuring clover-shaped designs in sterling silver, 14K, and 18K gold. While it was a commercial success, Klum was forced to say Auf Wiedersehen to the line after Van Cleef & Arpels filed a suit against the designer for allegedly copying the clover design.

Not one to shy away, Klum is back on the jewelry scene with this fashion jewelry line. The line is created with antique silvertone and brasstone metal finishes accented by simulated gemstones in hematite, smoky quartz and opal. Retails range from $30 to $200.

In the product placement coup of the year, Klum is scheduled to wear the pieces throughout the upcoming season of “Project Runway,” which is watched by millions of viewers each episode.
