New York—A victim of its own success, Handbag Designer 101 has outgrown its name.
The new HBDNetwork is a more appropriate moniker for an industry organization that connects designers, retailers, consumers and industry experts on a global scale.
“After over a decade of working with and for independent handbag designers, we are thrilled to announce the HBDNetwork, which will serve as a home for all of our current and future initiatives, from a shopping site to educational panels and webinars,” says founder Emily Blumenthal.
“As our brand has grown, it has become apparent that the formation of a larger parent company was a vital key to our continued success. The birth of the HBDNetwork will be followed immediately by the launch of new properties and talent initiatives in early 2013. We look forward to sharing what we have on the way!”
Below is a list of the current properties that now fall under the HBDNetwork.
