This morning, LVMH’s Instagram feed featured its reminder that the Paris-based luxury conglomerate will be reprising Les Journées Particulières, a weekend of behind-the-scenes access to 50 of its ateliers, salons, and research facilities.
Registration for the third edition, to be held May 20-22, begins Monday, March 21 and is expected to fill quickly.
LVMH held its first Les Journées Particulières in October of 2011. The last edition, held June 15-16 of 2013, gave more than 120,000 visitors access to sites that included Louis Vuitton’s special orders workshop in Asnières, Christian Dior’s haute couture salons on the Avenue Montaigne in Paris, and the Berluti bespoke shoes workshop.
Although this year’s list of venues has not been finalized, LVMH will be opening many of its facilities for the first time, including: Fort Chabrol, Moët & Chandon’s viticulture and oenological research institute in Épernay; Fendi headquarters at the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome; the Moynat workshop in Paris; the Loro Piana woolen spinning mill in Roccapietra, in Italy’s Piedmont region; and the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, which opened in October 2014.
