Maybe we’re biased, since we did visit Venice not too long ago, but we’re totally enamored with Furla’s new SS18 collection, all inspired by Italy’s beloved city on the canals. Made with exclusive Venetian textiles sourced directly from Italy, the collection expands on Furla’s Italian fabric Resort line. Due to their exclusive nature, retails are slightly than the traditional Furla range. The Venetian textiles line ranges from $228 to $828.

Even the names of the new bags transport us to the places and customs of Venice. The Furla Rialto hobo features metallic details and braided leather handle; Furla Laguna is characterized by a folded construction which creates the shape of a stylized flower; and Furla Murrina reflects the glassblowing tradition of Murano–a cylindrical bowling bag with the body in smooth Venice calfskin leather.

The palette evokes everything from the rich Venetian paisley silks to the pink and peach terracotta palaces on the Grand Canal. Styles include small crossbodies to larger totes that can double as overnighters or travel bags (to Venice, perhaps?).
