Luxury handbag and accessories reseller Fashionphile is opening its first New York City showroom next week.
Located on Madison Avenue at 76th street, this new Fashionphile address features a smaller, curated selection of pre-owned vintage, rare and limited-edition designer handbags and accessories.
Despite the luxury nature, there will also be plenty of fun (think Instagrammable) things to experience. The new store boasts 6-tall Prada robots, a Louis Vuitton punching bag, Saint Laurent guitar cases and Hermes surfboards. And why not? Fashionphile already has a 6-foot-tall, pink Brikin” handbag in their Carlsbad lobby made out of 58,000 Lego® bricks!
Fashionphile launched in 1999 as an online business, which continues to generate 99% of total sales, and began adding stores in California in 2008. New York City was Fashionphile’s most trafficked zip code for buyers and suppliers, so the brick-and-mortar space will be a welcome addition for designer handbag/accessory loving New Yorkers. It is Fashionphile’s fourth brick-and-mortar location and its first physical presence on the East Coast.
Fashionphile is also launching a new VIP Concierge service, offering at-home pickup for qualified buyouts.
“We are beyond excited to open our doors in New York City on one of the most fashionable Avenues in the world,” states Sarah Davis, Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Fashionphile. “Our NYC loyalists have been a huge support of the Fashionphile brand over the years and because of them, we are thrilled to give New Yorkers this new showroom and introduce our first-ever VIP
Concierge service in their city.”
As with any luxury branded reseller, authenticity is paramount.
Fashionphile has nearly 10,000 items on their website and over 14,000 in the “Fashionphile Cage” at its Carlsbad, California headquarters. Fashionphile’s “Authentication Station” puts 300 to 400 items through an extensive verification procedure by skilled experts. The company offers a 100% authenticity with a “lifetime money back guarantee” on each item.
Fashionphile was named as one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s 100 “Smartest, Most Innovative, Hands down Brilliant Companies on [their] Radar”.
