Burberry Prorsum

Burberry Fall 2015
Burberry has evolved its ubiquitous blanket wrap from last year into another surefire hit: the fringed poncho and cape. With Asian-inspired fabrics and touches of Indian or Middle Eastern mirrors, the look has an overall boho feel.

Mary Katrantzou

Mary Katrantzou
While known for her colorful prints, Mary Katrantzou went for texture as well this season, featuring plastic/rubber clutches that look like tire treads, Victorian flounces on skirts and printed and embossed furs.

All was long and lean at this show, from the super-thin models to the almost floor-grazing scarves. Velvet burnout and other fabrications went from light and airy to coldweather versions.
