Making an Hermes bag... from the pages of Objects of Desire

New York—Want to really appreciate those luxury items you’ve been drooling over? Peruse Objects of Desire, a new book from The Curated Collection by Farameh Media LLC, and get a true behind-the-scenes appreciation. This coffee table book focuses on luxury accessories from around the globe and features numerous rare making-of images from the craftsman studios as well as designer interviews.

At 464 pages and with more than 400 photos, Objects of Desire: Desire is What Leads You Through Life offers a broad scope of objects, from watches to footwear to handbags to jewelry. Mostly free of “bling” or overt ostentation, these “artisanal, specialty and bespoke” objects are classically designed and expertly made.

The book retails for $125 and will be in stores like Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, Barnes & Nobles and upscale bookstores starting November 1.
