San Jose, CA—With the launch today of its new enhanced shopping destination (fashion.ebay.com), eBay is taking a decidedly more fashionable approach to the “world’s largest online marketplace.”

The site now has a stylish home base where shoppers can browse through more than 19 million average daily listings to find apparel, shoes and accessories faster by style, brand, even trend. New navigation tools include a dedicated “Fashion Tab” in the top navigation on the eBay homepage that directs shoppers to their choices by boutique, brand, category, similar items or trends. The “More Like This” feature brings up other apparel and accessories items that are similar in color, shape, pattern, etc.

The site’s most popular categories, including women’s clothing, men’s clothing, shoes and handbags now have their own shopping boutiques making it easier to shop these categories by brand, style, size and other attributes and refine product selection. EBay also is providing fashion tips and trends from its new roster of experts, including celebrity stylists Annabel Tollman, Rebecca Weinberg, Kate Young, Estee Stanley and Britt Bardo.

EBay Fashion will also offer a new feature that provides shoppers increased access to new, fixed price, brand name clothing, shoes and accessories at special prices. The recently launched eBay Fashion Vault gives shoppers “Buy It Now” instant access to new, direct-from-brand merchandise at deep discounts for a limited time while inventory lasts.
