New York–Creeds Collective, a socially responsible pop-up shopping emporium, is giving holiday shoppers in Soho a chance to buy emerging brands and also give back with each purchase. Ten percent of all sales will go to Global Citizen, advocating social change and the end to extreme poverty by 2030.
This passion project is the work of two women equally dedicated to the cause of giving back: Creeds of Love’s Evie Phillips and Concept Collective’s Stephanie Halphen. Phillips, owning 10 years on the branding side of fashion, as well as special expertise in Conscious Consumerism and Philanthropic Planning, was excited to learn of a unique pop-up plan that Halphen had in the works. Halphen had been in the midst of coordinating and curating a seasonal store, to open this autumn in New York. She was scouting brands, generating marketing plans, and after a few conversations about goods and giving, Creeds Collective was born.
Open through November and December, the multilevel 8,500-square-foot space on Crosby Street will be more about just shopping; it doubles as an interactive venue to host custom gifting events, art exhibits, networking gatherings, trunk shows, happy hours and more. Interestingly, it was once known as the home of Arturo Di Modica, the Wall Street “Charging Bull.”
Creeds Collective will carry 45+ brands ranging from contemporary apparel and accessories to grooming products, footwear, and home-design items. Product prices will range from $20 to $2000+.
“We want to bring ‘on the verge’ designers to a highly trafficked retail district and space; executing events that both showcase their products, and connect them with their consumers on a whole new level,” says Halphen.
Lines include Nicolino, Lionette NY, Angela and Roi, Dharma Eyewear, Parme Marin, Eva Shaw Designs, Snowman NY, DBrand, Made by VOX, Coye Nokes, Soxiety, Feya Candles and many more.
“All Creeds Collective brands are selected not only for their superior talent,” explains co-founder and Conscious Consumerism expert Phillips, “but for their social impact and motivation to shift the industry paradigm.”
