The Coterie x Pryma party–which closed New York Fashion Week and served as an opening to UBM’s Coterie show this Sunday–drew an A-list crowd of retailers, press and bloggers, as influential as the brands featured. Held at the World of McIntosh Townhouse in Soho, the four-floor event featured curated lifestyle vignettes or ready-to-wear and accessories.
Attendees explored a curated gallery of 60 of Coterie’s top brands (all showing at Coterie next week). Each showcased five to 10 pieces hand-selected by the Coterie fashion team. Chiara Ferragni, Pas de Calais, Milly, Alexis Bittar, Jill Stuart, Markus Lupfer, Koral, Antiq Batik, M.i.h, Dodo Bar Or and Zadig & Voltaire are just a sampling of the participating brands. Coterie placed the collections into multi-brand trend-themed exhibitions for each floor of the venue including pool-themed vignettes with swimwear and various themes of ready-to-wear and accessories, allowing guests to experience an exciting preview of what they will find at Coterie.
“It’s a way of enhancing the Coterie show as well as promoting the brands that participate with us in a new way. Linking to New York Fashion Week is a chance to expose a different subset of buyers and press to a curated version of our extensive brand roster,” says Danielle Licata, Vice President/General Manager of Coterie.
In addition, guests were able to listen to a sneak peek from the COTERIE SOUNDTRACK Volume 6, which is sponsored by Pryma. The newly released Coterie playlist includes four exclusive tracks and new releases, showcasing the pervasive connection between music and fashion.
