Stockholm–The dust has barely settled on H&M’s Versace collaboration and already the fast-fashion retailer is preparing for its next one.

This time, H&M is teams with hip Italian brand Marni, a print-heavy label favored by cool girls with the confidence to pull-off the bold clashing patterns and arts-and-crafts vibe.

The collection, which will include apparel and accessories for both men and women, will hit stores on March 8, 2012.

“I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints,” says Marni’s founder and creative director Consuelo Castiglioni. “As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colors, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements,”

Decorating the mix of full-pleated skirts, dresses, cropped pants and jacquard knits, look for signature prints be they color blocks like bold polka dots or African-inspired patterns.

The Marni for H&M collection also includes jewelry, shoes, bags and scarves, not to mention the company’s signature conical hat. Expect lots of chunky necklaces in unusually paired colors.

Oh yeah, and expect lots and lots of long lines.
