Creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere showed at the Louvre, a clean, modern Fall 2017 collection for Louis Vuitton. Clothes were tailored in graphic patterns and designs, with lots of cinched-waist looks. Accessories came in the form of updated jewelry classics like the chain belt clasp, and freshened up with other add on’s such as band-like chain metals hanging from jackets and chains wrapped around wrist and necks, hanging long and loose. Looks were accesntuated with Chelsea Boots and boxy bags.
Miu Miu Fall 2017 brought graphic patterns, bright, vibrant colors and see-through materials. Rain coats were a plenty in retro and furry styles. Colorful, innovative accessories like fur handbag straps, hats and footwear took center stage while decadent, oversized statement jewelry with crystals and rhinestones layered at the neckline.
Alexander McQueen Fall 2017 was all about woven, whipstitch clothing with lace-up details, two design features that carried through to the accessories as well. Long, flowy fringe adorned handbags and apparel in basic colors such as red, white and black. Bold, rich and godly metal made for statement jewelry such as cuffs and pendant necklaces and collars.
