Olivier Rousteing wanted something for all women and his his Fall ’16 collection for Balmain was just that. His opulent clothes are constructed with rich fabrics such as velvet, mesh, and silk and are accented with lace, pearls, ruffles and tassels.  The monochrome neutral (icy gray, pale pink and beige) color palette was accented with thigh-high suede boots, thick metal banded belts and oversized Lucite collars.

Hippie biker chick is perhaps the narrative for Clare Waight Keller’s latest collection for Chloé, inspired by Anne-France Dautheville, a Frenchwoman who traveled around Europe and the Middle East on a motorbike during the ‘70s. The clothes are softly draped with oversized ponchos, soft romantic lace dresses and fuzzy textured coats were key looks.  Mini neckerchiefs scarves, cross body traveler bags and leather boots complement the nomadic chic aesthetic.
