For Fall ’16 Jason Wu toyed around with the idea of an everyday woman’s wardrobe, with a focus on individualism. With a collection that consisted of plaid suits, leather trench coats, and some lingerie-esque black dresses, he complemented each look with detachable fur shoulder wraps that gave his costumer a must have item for the season!
Cultural harmony was Vivienne Tam’s motto for Fall ’16, blending the cultures of East, Central and North Asia in her latest collection. This was rendered in printed blazers and pants, as well as in graphic knits and softly, pleated skirts and dresses. Shiny and metallic neck ties and scarves were key accessories, styled with large front or side bows or simply knotted for a touch of retrodd.
