BonTonMilwaukee, WI—It’s February and hearts are everywhere. Whether one is practically bursting with love or could use a little repair, Bon-Ton wants to take good care of it.

Bon-Ton and the American Heart Association are partnering up this month to create the “Promise to Love Your Heart” campaign, providing customers with heart health tips, healthy recipes and more.

While “Promise to Love Your Heart” offers ways to feel good on the inside, it’s also giving customers the opportunity to look good on the outside. Throughout the month of February, customers can text “Heart” to 266866 to receive a $10 off $25 coupon with Bon-Ton donating $1 to the cause for each text. Customers can also purchase a $5 Community Day Booklet and designate a $5 donation to the American Heart Association.

“The American Heart Association is a terrific organization that helps raise awareness to combat heart disease,” says Brendan Hoffman, president/ceo of The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. “In working with the AHA, we hope to share valuable information to help people live in a heart healthy lifestyle.”

Social media junkies rejoice. Facebook fans of Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner’s, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s, and Younkers stores who promise to “Love their Hearts” will be entered to win a $100 gift card with a winner from each page chosen at the end of the campaign.

Those on Twitter can follow Bon-Ton and retweet their healthy heart tips. For each retweet, Bon-Ton will donate $1 to the cause.

So here’s to happy and healthy shopping with a “promise” that will never go out of style.
