The Balmain Army is back in Olivier Rousteing’s collaboration with H&M. Yesterday, the look book for the collection was released, revealing the highly anticipated line dropping into stores on November 5th.
In true Rousteing fashion, the designer is promoting the collaboration with the hashtag #HMBalmaination, a catchphrase bringing the luxury line to the masses.
Classic Balmain embroidery, beading, and glitzy gold embellishments characterize the line, democratizing the fashion house’s bold looks with low-cost styles reminiscent of Kardashian red-carpet trends.
Accessory highlights include wide banded belts featuring gold hardware, green suede handbags and clutches, and stack-able, layered chokers and bracelets reminiscent of traditional African jewelry.
“I wanted to capture the confidence, sexiness and power of the house,” Rousteing tells Vogue. “When you wear the clothes, you’re going to feel powerful and strong.”
