BADGLEY MISCHKA LAUNCHES NEW JEWELRY LICENSE

Badgley Mischka is launching a new fashion jewelry license this Market Week, manufactured by Rhode Island-based private label jewelry company Kenilworth Creations. Accessories got a sneak peek at the collection today, which features earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pins and more in luxurious materials including feathers, lace, ribbon, fresh water pearls, as well as unique crystals and stones. Featuring both evening and day pieces, many have a vintage approach with either reworked vintage pieces put into manufacturing or vintage-inspired elements. Retail prices range from $38 to $350.

The jewelry draws inspiration from signature Badgley Mischka beading and embroidery, channeling the brand’s signature aesthetic for both special occasion or every day wear. Statement pieces are key, from wide intricate chokers to mixed materials necklaces, although there are also delicate items like feather earrings or pearl drops.

“It is so exciting to bring these special pieces to our customers,” James Mischka said. “We have always loved beading and a touch of shine on our runway, so jewelry is very natural fit for us and our design aesthetic,” he continued. “Jewelry is such an effortless way to add glamour and personality to your look, which something we really value at Badgley Mischka,” added Mark Badgley.

This new jewelry license (the previous licensee was Sequin) rounds out Badgley Mischka’s expansion into a true lifestyle brand. To date, the brand includes Eveningwear, Day Dresses, Sportswear, Outerwear, Bridal, Swimwear, Footwear, Handbags, Eyewear, Timepieces and Jewelry.
