When I hear “wild shaped bags” I immediately think of very peculiar designs by luxury handbag designers, usually put into runway shows. Chanel is the first brand of bag that comes to mind, although Prada comes a close second.           Chanel likes to do things such as the Lego Bag, which is priced at £5,730.                 The Chanel Hula Hoop Bag, which according to this article has been given it’s name by the internet, has also graced the runway in the Spring 2013 collection.             … Continue reading

Celebrity Wrap Up: Cross Body

In Blogs by HBD NetworkLeave a Comment

Cross body bags, they are truly the best. When I was younger, and a little naïve, I thought cross body bags were weird and not fashionable, at all. Sort of like fanny packs (side note: fanny pack never was and never will be in style, guys). But a few years back, I realized it’s my ideal bag. It’s so convenient to have this bag, it hangs on your body and you have both of your hands free. And we all need our hands to hold cup of coffee, phone, iPod, book, maybe a kid?… I’m not the only one … Continue reading

In college, buying abag that is more than $1500 is usually something that isn’t an option…  And if it is, you are one lucky chick. Expensive bags – we all want them and dream about the day you can finally get your hands on a pair of a Gucci Crocodile Brown Tote. Tweens can be an awkward phase, where they aren’t little kids anymore but aren’t quiet yet teenagers, that wants to be seen differently than they were. This is the age where playing with Barbies is too immature for them. It’s the age they want to be seen as an almost teenager, someone who can almost-but-not-yet go to a PG 13 movie, someone whose bedtimegot bumped up to 9PM. Dora the Explorer, Power Rangers, Batman, SpiderMan… that is what comes to my mind when I think of backpacks. Why, you may ask? Because I associate backpacks with little kids running off to school. But I’m not the only one who thinks like this. Backpacks are such concrete, masculine bags that we often forget they are actually good bags that could make our lives 90% easier. Other than feeling like I’m off to the Grand-Canyon for a hike, backpacks have made it to the fashion world where and has become a hip bag to carry around the city. This … Continue reading
