Thirsty for some new ideas in fashion retail?
Pop over to the AriZona Iced Tea pop-up in New York City, where the drink company celebrates its 25th anniversary with a riff off the classic 99-cent store. The AriZona Great Buy 99 Pop-Up, which runs from May 16 through may 21, 2018, will be stocked with everything from custom Brian Atwood heels and Nike’s, to T-shirts and pouches, all decked out in AriZona’s signature prints and colors.
The pop-up follows the anniversary release of AriZona-themed merchandise, which is also being sold on its website starting Wednesday at www.greatbuy99.com. While AriZona has been known to dabble in fashion, this release is much larger and more significant than anything done before.
With so many fashion brand expanding into food-themed apparel and accessories, it was only a matter of time before food brands started expanding into fashion. And these items go beyond just slapping a logo on a t-shirt like Coca-Cola. Designs are more abstract, featuring the signature patterns and prints.
AriZona partnered with Relevant Customs to create an exclusive, limited-edition Nike sneaker in three color ways.
The pop-up store is at 43 Crosby Street, New York City.
