San Francisco—Talk about a twist on “bridge jewelry!”

The latest from Alice Roche Jewelry is a special collection of jewelry to honor the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge, May 27.

It’s not surprising that the designer would be drawn to the beauty and architectural marvel of the Golden Gate Bridge. Roche, who holds a Masters of Architecture from UC Berkley, is also the daughter of an architect explores architecture.

Her Golden Gate Bridge collection features linear shapes, rivet details and leather cord. As a local to San Francisco, Roche is thrilled to honor the anniversary of the bridge, which will be marked with events across the city.

It is the simple things that make me stop and look. The imperfections of a line, the power of repetition, the beauty of unexpected shadows – all these things feed the way I work and the objects I make.” – Alice Roche
