The department store, a founding national sponsor of the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement, will celebrate the 10th National Heart Month through a lineup of special events, merchandise, and promotions to gain awareness and funds to helping women fight heart disease.

“At Macy’s, we are so proud that we have been a national sponsor of the Go Red For Women from its inception,” says Martine Reardon, Macy’s chief marketing officer. “Since 2004, we have raised $40 million for the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement, helping fund life-saving research and raise awareness of this preventable disease.”macys coupon Support for the cause includes Macy’s annual Wear Red Sale from Jan. 30 to Feb. 14, which will award customers wearing red or purchasing a Red Dress pin for $2 with a 20% discount on a wide range of merchandise or 15% on fine and fashion jewelry and select home items. The entirety of pin sales will be donated to the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement.

In addition, three exclusive red dresses from Kensie, Ellen Tracy, and Marilyn Monroe (Macy’s exclusive new collection launching this spring), will be sold in honor of the cause in select stores and on starting Feb. 1. A portion of the proceeds of these items sold through March 31 will be donated to the American Heart Association.

To remain innovative and to reinforce its dedication to the cause, Macy’s adds new components to its Go Red For Women campaign every year. This year Macy’s will light its iconic Herald Square building red on Jan. 31, host “Find Your Red” shopping parties, and launch a social media campaign entitled “Color Your World Red.”
