New York–Were you at the recent AccessoriesTheShow (ATS) at the Javits? If so, you saw aisles and aisles of amazing accessories plus a fresh collaboration with Accessories Magazine (both are owned by BJI Fashion Group).
In addition to a presentation of Spring/Summer 16’s Five Big Trends, our team was also out in force snapping zillions of photos and working the floor. Below, a few of our favorite things off Accessories Magazine’s Instagram (plus a few more borrowed from exhibitors under the #ACCESSORIESTHESHOW hashtag). Enjoy the show through our eyes!
Military March; One of the featured 5 Big Trends and some examples from show exhibitors.
Modern Hibiscus; one of the featured 5 Big Trends and some examples from show exhibitors.
It all begins with Instagram. A shout-out to Melie Bianco’s adorable Instagram bag.
We can’t get enough indigo and Japanese Shibori tie-dye, which are rising in popularity. They’ve even been called the “next Ikat.” Here, scarves from Rock Flower Paper in everyone’s favorite color.
Speaking of blue, check out these gorgeous blue beaded tassel necklaces from Zacasha.
Such gorgeous Native American artisan designed-and-created beaded bracelets from Etkie, as seen at The Nest.
For a lighter shade of pale that puts us in the Zen mood (also one of SS16’s 5 Big Trends) here are convertible backpacks from Pixie Mood. The one at right is in Serenity, Pantone’s Color of the Year, too!
We interrupt this post to thank The Chiq Jewelry for the love. And I quote:

Who wouldn’t want cute bows on their rain boots! Brand new from legwear company Lemon.
Inspirational jewelry is always awesome, but these items from Good Work(s) Make a Difference give back in the best possible way to a number of causes. #BLESSED.
Naturals in suede, cork and metallics are everywhere for SS16. And a brushed metal table makes the perfect backdrop!
