Accessories Magazine to go All Digital in 2018

In What's New, Industry News by Accessories Staff

Accessories Magazine, which has served the women’s fashion accessories business as The Voice of the Industry for over 100 years, is moving to an all-news, all-digital platform, beginning in January 2018. The website,, and 3x per week newsletter will be upgraded over the next several months to provide a robust user experience and a greater emphasis on news and events plus daily social media updates throughout the week (@accessoriesmag). The print edition will cease publication to be replaced with special issues for notable occasions, salutes and events.

As part of UBM Fashion, ACCESSORIES has considerable resources behind it to bring it to a new level.

UBM Fashion is the world’s leading organizer of trade shows for the fashion industry, including Coterie, WWDMAGIC, Project Women’s, FN Platform,  AccessoriesTheShow, POOLTRADESHOW, Fame, Moda, as well as men’s PROJECT and MRket and Children’s Club.

Lauren Parker will remain as ACCESSORIES Editor-in-Chief, with the dual role at UBM Fashion as Brand Director, Accessories for WWDMAGIC, AccessoriesTheShow,  Fame and POOLTRADESHOW. That said, ACCESSORIES will continue to report on the industry at large, offering additional insights into the ever-changing market.

ACCESSORIES remains an industry leader with increased visibility at UBM Fashion events—leading expert panel discussions, producing trend boards and presentations and more. Stay tuned for new initiatives in 2018.

“The print edition of ACCESSORIES had been around for over a century, which underscores our knowledge and position as The Voice of the Industry. However, we recognize that the way the industry consumes information has changed, and it has become more expedient for us to release news and trend information virtually as it happens. Digital allows us this freedom,” says Lauren Parker, Editor-in-Chief, ACCESSORIES. “I look forward to this next chapter at ACCESSORIES.”
