With 25 years in accessories publishing, Lauren has written over 1,000 articles profiling industry experts, retail and marketing executives, designers and manufacturers, and traveled extensively for international shows and trendspotting (most recent trip: Morocco). Lauren has previously written for National Jeweler, Couture Jeweler, Accent, EyeWear and International Watch, plus art, travel and lifestyle consumer publications like Hampton Country. She recently worked on the fine jewelry coffee table book Jewelry’s Shining Stars. Lauren frequently judges industry design competitions and speaks at fashion schools, and has presented accessories segments on TV. She has a B.S. in Communications from Cornell University.

Ann Loynd is a New York–based writer and editor with an eye for a great product. After earning her degree in English and journalism, Ann cut her teeth covering interior design and luxury lifestyle at regional shelter publications Cottages & Gardens and AtHome. A self-proclaimed fashionista, she entered the trade fashion industry working for Footwear Plus magazine where she interviewed brand executives, styled photo shoots and scouted the latest trends in footwear. Through the course of her career, Ann has logged countless steps at local and international trade shows, uncovered up-and-coming designers and keyed in on industry phenomena. She brings her eye for trends and nose for news to Accessories as Market Editor and resident shoe expert.
