New York—Badgley Mischka gets plenty of notice on the runways, now the designer brand is getting noticed for its eyewear as well. During the recent Vision Expo East, the new Badgley Mischka eyewear and sunwear collections received the Vision Choice Award for Best New Product.
Produced by The McGee Group, the Badgley Mischka eyewear collection was displayed throughout the show in the New Product Gallery where attendees voted for their favorite new products.
According to the McGee Group, the Badgley Mischka eyewear and sunwear collections are inspired by Badgley Mischka’s signature fabrics, layering and draping. Custom colors are obtained by multi-layered transparent silkscreen and acetate with embellishments of Swarovski crystals and European components.
The sunwear features double gradient polarized and non-polarized lenses in fashion colors.
While the elegant styles cater to a “young, modern, couture customer” they don’t “forsake women of any age.” Eyewear retails between $185 to $225; sunwear, $200 to $235. www.mcgeegroup.com
