Miami–She’s rock ‘n roll royalty, the daughter of Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger and an actress/model Jerry Hall. Now Georgia May Jagger, herself a model, is the new brand ambassador for Sunglass Hut, the leading global sunglass retailer.
The first integrated fall campaign featuring Jagger was shot by photographer Dan Jackson and launched globally earlier this month at Sunglass Hut retail locations and online.
A mere 20 years old, Jagger has already been hailed a style icon: known for her perfect pout and trademark gap-toothed smile, she has graced the pages of numerous fashion magazines as well as ad campaigns for Hudson Jeans, Rimmel, Chanel, Versace and, most recently, Madonna’s Material Girl collection.
In this new ambassador role, Sunglass Hut is looking to Jagger to provide the brand with an inside look at what is happening with today’s fashion lover and provide Sunglass Hut consumers with the latest trends in fashion.
“I love the new fall eyewear trend featured at Sunglass Hut,” said Jagger. “The clash of different materials and colors in so many different looks makes it even more fun to accessorize with sunglasses this season. My favorite look is the oversized plastic frame with metal on the sides.”
Fabio D’Angelantonio, ceo at the Luxottica-owner retailer, said the new brand ambassador had to be someone who connected on a “peer-to-peer” level.”“Georgia is the perfect fit for that role. She’s a trend setter to her peers, she’s highly regarded by the fashion community for her style and beauty and of course, she loves sunglasses.”

In addition to appearing in front of the camera, Sunglass Hut will be showcasing Jagger’s photography online through a dedicated webpage at SunglassHut.com featuring a monthly photo story and personal travel diary highlighting Jagger’s experiences at home and abroad.
