New York—Accessories Directions, Accessories magazine’s trend forecasting service, is giving a behind the scenes look at the leading trends for the Spring/Summer 2013 season in a webinar next week.
In the past, forecasting presentations were given here in New York, which were successful but were unavailable to those outside Manhattan, or even the United States.
So on Tuesday, July 24, and Thursday, July 26, Accessories Directions will premiere its first trend forecasting webinar!
What is a webinar?
Basically a webinar is a web-based seminar or presentation that is transmitted over the web permitting viewers to hear and see the presentation in the comfort of their office or home–anywhere in the world. It’s very much like watching a video on YouTube.
How will I view the webinar?
After you register and pay the $75 introductory fee, you will receive an email confirmation that includes your username and password for the webinar. Prior to one of the four webinar times you selected, you will receive a reminder email that includes the link where you’ll view the webinar.
What kind of computer do I have to use?
Any computer, PC or Mac, should be sufficient to view the webinar. Your confirmation email also includes a simple test to make sure your computer’s system will show the webinar without any problem. Since you’ll be seeing product details and other visuals, it is probably best to view the webinar on a large computer monitor.
What if I have a question or comment during webinar?
While your webinar is running, you will be able to submit any questions or comments to the host Nicole Philip-Kronenberg, fashion editor at Accessories, and the Accessories Directions team. Please allow seven business days to get a response to any submission.
How long will the webinar last? Approximately 50 minutes
Will all accessories categories be included in the forecast?
Just about everything! Jewelry/watches, handbags, belts, small leathergoods and tech accessories, scarves, hosiery, footwear, sunglasses, hats, gloves, etc.
