New York—You’ve seen her costume design in trendsetting movies and TV shows such as “Sex and the City,” “Devil Wears Prada,” “Ugly Betty,” and if you’re lucky, you’ve attended her over-the-top fashion shows.
Perhaps you’ve also seen her limited-edition clothing line for HSN, or shopped at her quirky boutique, which has been a downtown New York staple for the past 30 years.
Field is also known for her special commissions, which she has done for Coca Cola, Skyy Vodka, even Mattel’s Barbie. She’s been nominated for an Academy Award and won an Emmy for her work.
And while there are accessories sold at her boutique, the savvy stylist is now reinventing herself as a brand, and has signed on with international licensing and consulting firm Artestar to create it. Artestar is looking to extend the Patricia Field brand into all “fashion related, relevant consumer product, and lifestyle product categories or creative services.”
While not manufacturers, Artestar will serve as agents to set up partnerships with various accessories companies and others in different industries. Stay tuned!
